No Stream Deck?
Use your phone.
ExcelDeck has been tested with Stream Deck Mobile. Use your phone as a keypad for Excel on your Windows PC.
What you need
- A Windows PC with desktop Microsoft Excel and Stream Deck software 6.6 or later.
- A phone with Stream Deck Mobile installed.
- Your phone and computer connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
Connect your phone
- Install the mobile app. Get Stream Deck Mobile from Elgato on your phone.
- Install the desktop software. Open Elgato’s Stream Deck desktop download page and choose the Windows download.
- Show the QR code. Open Stream Deck on your PC. In the device dropdown, choose Add Mobile Device.
- Scan to pair. Open Stream Deck Mobile on your phone and use its pairing scanner to scan the QR code displayed on your PC. Follow the prompts to connect.
- Install ExcelDeck on your PC. Follow the ExcelDeck installation guide.
- Add your buttons. Select your mobile device in the desktop Stream Deck app. Drag ExcelDeck actions onto its keys, open Excel, and use your phone to trigger them. Try button actions such as Zoom + and Zoom −.
Windows for now
Elgato’s desktop software is available for PC and Mac, but this ExcelDeck release only supports Windows. A Mac version is planned. Physical dial controls require Stream Deck +.
