One step at a time.
Install ExcelDeck and add Excel actions to your Stream Deck.
Before you start
- Windows 10 or later. This release does not support macOS; a Mac version is planned.
- Stream Deck software 6.6 or later.
- Microsoft Excel desktop for Windows.
Install ExcelDeck
- Download the ZIP. Save ExcelDeck-v0.3-Windows-Installer.zip to your computer.
- Extract the ZIP. Right-click it and choose Extract All.
- Open the installer. Inside the extracted folder, double-click
ExcelDeck-v0.3.streamDeckPlugin. - Confirm the installation. Accept the install or update prompt in the Stream Deck app.
- Add your actions. Find ExcelDeck in the actions list and drag actions onto keys or dials. Open Excel to try them.
The installer ZIP contains the plugin, START-HERE.txt instructions and the installer checksum. For editable code and detailed documentation, download the original package with source code (optional).
Compatibility and release status
Tested on Stream Deck +. Button actions, including Zoom + and Zoom −, are intended to work on other Stream Deck models, but have not been tested yet. Dial controls require Stream Deck +.
This is a beta release and is not Marketplace-approved. Some features still need live Excel and device testing.
